What is the age range for the recreational soccer program?

We have the following age ranges; (2/3 years, 4/5 years, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5/6th grade, 7/8th grade)

What days are the soccer programs?

Games are Fri evening, Saturday and Sunday at Haas Park. Practices are hosted at a variety of local parks by parent coach

How long is the season, and how many games will we play?

2/3-2nd Grade - 8 Weeks // 3/4th -7/8th - 12 Weeks

Is the program co-ed or separated by gender?

Seperated up until 5/6th which starts CoEd

What is the cost of registration, and what does it include?

$175 – includes jersey

How are teams formed? Can my child be placed with a friend?

Teams are balanced by age/skill; friend requests honored when possible.

What is the refund policy if my child cannot participate after registering?

Full refund before first game

Are there tryouts or skill evaluations?

No tryouts; fun-based program with equal opportunity for all. Evaluations occur at older age groups to ensure parity

How many players are on a team, and how much playing time will each child get?

Teams have 10 players; all players get at least 50% playing time.

What equipment does my child need for games and practices?

Shinguards, soccer socks, water bottle, athletic shoes/turf shoes.

Are uniforms provided, or do we purchase them separately?

Uniforms provided with registration fee.

What type of shoes are allowed, and are cleats permitted?

Turf shoes or sneakers only; no metal cleats.

COACHING & VOLUNTEERS

Who coaches the teams, and how can I volunteer to help?

Volunteer parents/coaches; email program director to sign up. Games are monitored by Coach Orin who will assist players and coaches

Is coach training provided, and what is the coaching philosophy?

Yes – training focuses on fun, fundamentals, and sportsmanship.

RULES & SAFETY

What are the main rules of the league, and are they different for younger age groups?

Modified rules for younger divisions to encourage skill development.

What is the league’s policy on cancellations due to weather?

Cancellations are posted via Playmetrics depending on weather. We do our best to make up sessions.

How does the program ensure player safety on and off the field?

Certified coaches, first aid kits, and strict no-jewelry policy.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Are there clinics, camps, or skill development sessions in addition to the regular season?

Yes – seasonal clinics for all ages. Both beginner and advanced level

Can my child play in more than one league at the same time?

Yes, as long as schedules do not conflict.

Are there opportunities for players to move into a competitive or travel soccer program?

Yes – pathway to local travel teams available.
